Proposed City Hall / DPW Renovation and Expansion

On Monday December 17, 2018, a community group presented plans to the Clarkston City Council for the expansion and renovation of the Artemus Pappas Village Hall in Depot Park.  The community group included Clarkston Community Schools teachers Steve Wykoff and Jeff Peariso, local builder Sam Moraco, and local building designer Jerry Carter (Total Environmental Designs, LLC).  The project,  which was originally envisioned by former Clarkston Mayor Steve Percival, would make use of the students enrolled in the Construction Technology program at Clarkston Junior High School and Clarkston High School, under the supervision of teachers Steve Wykoff and Jeff Peariso.  Sam Moroco would be in charge of the construction project, and Jerry Carter would use his preliminary drawings and produce construction drawings.  At the meeting, the Clarkston City Council voted to spend up to $7,500 for construction drawings for the project.  Images from the preliminary drawings are included below.
