Depot Park Playground Redevelopment, Phase 1

The Clarkston Area Optimist Club donated money for the Phase 1 redevelopment of the playground in Depot Park.  Club members, Clarkston officials, Clarkston Department of Public Works (DPW) employees, Friends of Depot Park members, and students from the Clarkston Construction Technology Program all pitched in to install new pieces of equipment and spread new mulch around the playground.  The work started with demolition, followed by the installation of a GeoClimber, a new swing, and the addition of mulch.

If you would like to be involved in more improvement to the playground at Depot Park, stop by the city offices at 507 Depot St, or call the city offices at 248-625-1559.
